So that’s how we can create a whole system for the house and can connect all the AC appliances to the 8051 microcontroller using Relays. And this bluetooth controlled home automation system can be operated from a Smart phone. In the circuit, Arduino board, LCD module and LEDs need a 5V regulated DC while relays need 12V regulated DC for their operation. Step 3: Download Code and Android App
The Bluetooth module has six pins – Enable, VCC, Ground, Transmit Data , Receive Data and State. The Enable and State pin are unused and so not connected in the circuit. The VCC and Ground pins are connected to the common VCC and Ground. The TxD and RxD pins of the module are connected to the pins 10 and 11 of the Arduino. Configure the pins connected with the bulbs and the TX pin as output pins and the RX pin as an input pin.
A Bluetooth based wireless home automation system can be implement with a low cost and it is easy to install in an existing home.
